Supplying leading products to the plumbing, electrical, hardware and infrastructure sectors, they partner with a loyal network of trade distributors, from large corporates to family-run Independents and Buying Groups. Renowned for quality and sustainability, they’re seeking a dynamic Regional Sales Manager to drive sales across Victoria and Tasmania.

The Role

Reporting to the National Sales Manager, you’ll lead a team of four Account Managers overseeing $80M+ in distribution accounts across multiple verticals. You’ll also manage key accounts and serve as the senior escalation point in Melbourne. This is a hybrid role combining strategic leadership, relationship building, and hands-on account management.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, mentor, and develop the Account Managers to exceed sales targets.
  • Manage high-value key accounts and support major accounts as the senior Melbourne representative.
  • Collaborate with clients on trading terms, stock management, and technical training.
  • Conduct joint visits to promote the brands to new end-user accounts.
  • Drive growth within a matrix-structured global corporate environment.
About You
You’re a proven sales leader with a history of distribution channel management and team development. You thrive in dynamic environments and are ready to make an impact.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of sales management experience in construction, industrial, or manufacturing sectors.
  • Strong track record in distribution channel management and exceeding sales targets.
  • Exceptional leadership, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Comfortable working in a matrix organization with hybrid (home/field) flexibility.
  • CRM proficiency (e.g., Salesforce) and strong business acumen.
