A well-known premium marine fabric brand is growing its Australian presence after a period without dedicated sales representation. Accounts are warm but largely untouched — meaning there's genuine low-hanging fruit alongside a real relationship-building mission. If you enjoy owning your patch and building something from scratch, this is a strong platform.

About the company

An internationally recognised brand in marine textiles, distributed across Australia through two established trade distributors. The product is stocked and known — what's been missing is a dedicated person on the ground nurturing the trade.

What you'll be doing
  • Qualifying and visiting marine fabric cutters and boat builders nationally (circa 300 accounts)
  • Signing up key accounts into a key-partner programme (discounts, rebates, marketing and brand support)
  • Focusing primarily on SE QLD and Sydney, with national travel as required
  • Building long-term relationships with SME business owners in the marine trade
  • Working autonomously from a home office with full brand and distributor support
  • Attending Trade Shows and Networking Events
What we're looking for
  • Solid B2B sales experience — product background is flexible
  • Comfortable calling on trade/SME business owners
  • Self-motivated and at ease working independently from home
  • Based East Coast and Willing to Travel Interstate to Visit Clients
Package
  • Base salary $90,000–$120,000 + super
  • Commission OTE $20,000–$30,000
  • Mileage reimbursed at US$0.75/km (no car allowance)
  • National role with genuine autonomy — you run your own diary
