Due to internal promotion, they're seeking a high-calibre Business Development Manager to drive growth in Perth Metro and across WA's booming civil and infrastructure sector.
The Opportunity
- Base yourself in Perth and own strategic new business acquisition in Water & Gas Utilities, Civil Construction, and Commercial Infrastructure.
- Target Tier 1–3 projects — typical contract values $100k–$1M+ (with potential for significantly larger wins).
- Engage early in the cycle: map tenders, influence pre-tender specifications, and build long-term relationships with Contractors, Asset Owners, Consultants/Specifiers, and key stakeholders.
- Leverage a small but strategic distribution channel for smaller projects.
- Long sales cycles, but high rewards — uncapped OTE, backed by a strong market-leading brand enjoying growing share.
- Rapidly expanding WA operation with strong financial backing and a stable, efficient team.
- Positioned for significant growth over the next 5 years amid WA's infrastructure boom (transport, utilities, renewables, METRONET, and major civil projects).

- Proven Business Development or sales hunter from construction, civil engineering, infrastructure, utilities, or related sectors (experience in mining/infrastructure tenders highly regarded).
- Existing network of trusted relationships with contractors, asset owners, and specifiers in WA.
- Track record of winning project work through tender processes — deep understanding of procurement stages, buying cycles, and stakeholder dynamics.
- Technically capable: comfortable reading and interpreting technical drawings/specifications.
- Self-motivated, resilient, and strategic — thrives on long-cycle, high-value wins.
